Deuteronomy 9:12

12Then the Lord said to me, aArise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you have brought from Egypt have acted corruptly. They have bturned aside quickly out of the way that I commanded them; they have made themselves a metal image.’

Deuteronomy 9:16-21

16And cI looked, and behold, you had sinned against the Lord your God. You had made yourselves a golden
Hebrew cast metal
calf. eYou had turned aside quickly from the way that the Lord had commanded you.
17So I took hold of the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes. 18Then I flay prostrate before the Lord gas before, forty days and forty nights. I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all the sin that you had committed, hin doing what was evil in the sight of the Lord to provoke him to anger. 19For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure that the Lord bore against you, so that he was ready to destroy you. iBut the Lord listened to me that time also. 20And the Lord was so angry with Aaron that he was ready to destroy him. And I prayed for Aaron also at the same time. 21Then jI took the sinful thing, the calf that you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it, grinding it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw the dust of it into the brook that ran down from the mountain.

Psalms 106:19-20

1 Corinthians 5:11

11But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone nwho bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one.

1 Corinthians 6:9

9Or do you not know that the unrighteous
Or wrongdoers
will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: pneither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,
The two Greek terms translated by this phrase refer to the passive and active partners in consensual homosexual acts

1 Corinthians 8:7

7However, not all possess this knowledge. But some, rthrough former association with idols, eat food as really offered to an idol, and stheir conscience, being weak, is defiled.

1 Corinthians 14:20-22

20Brothers, tdo not be children in your thinking. uBe infants in evil, but in your thinking be vmature. 21 wIn the Law it is written, xBy people of strange tongues and by the lips of foreigners will I speak to this people, and even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord.” 22Thus tongues are a sign not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is a sign
Greek lacks  a sign
not for unbelievers but for believers.

1 John 5:21

21Little children, zkeep yourselves from idols.
